Competition Mapping Board

 

What? The Competition Mapping Board supports you in developing appropriate Pricing strategies and tactics in competitive, commoditized markets. It will help you answer questions such as, “How should we react to price-aggressive competitors?”, or, “Where do we have a chance of extending our sales volumes and market shares without starting a price war?”.

How? The tool offers a visualization of market and supply shares from different market segments to single customer basis that can be handled intuitively. You can zoom in from the two-dimensional market and market segment level (e.g. regions x industries or regions x benefit segments) to the single customer (and back). That way, the tool displays which markets, market segments and customers are contested how severely and by whom, and you can see, for example, which competitor will be affected by your pricing action and where to expect according competitive reactions.
